Shaping Tomorrow's Financial Landscape
The Angaza Forum was established in 2020 to redefine the landscape of finance in Africa, acknowledging and empowering African women who are reshaping the financial services sector while contributing to socio-economic development through financial inclusion and ethical finance.
Over the past four years, the Forum has underscored the critical need for African women in finance to bolster their strategic leadership capabilities, aligning with Africa’s sustainable economic goals. Furthermore, amid the evolving financial landscape driven by climate concerns, leaders must equip themselves with expertise in climate-aligned investment, governance, and cultural transformation. Staying abreast of technological innovations is equally crucial for competitiveness. Meanwhile, amid talent challenges, fostering a supportive and inclusive workforce remains paramount.
With these themes in mind, the Angaza Forum aims to amplify women's influence in finance by showcasing their achievements and enhancing their strategic leadership capacities, thereby accelerating the paradigm shift towards shared value creation and ethical finance and investment.
Following a successful gathering in Kigali last year, the Angaza Forum heads to Nairobi, Kenya, from October 16th to 18th, 2024, bringing together the 2024 Angaza Award winners and women in the financial sector from across the Continent.
The Angaza Forum 2024 will feature a lineup of compelling speakers, knowledge presentations, and training sessions, alongside ample networking opportunities.
The Forum will be held in partnership with the Organization of Eastern & Southern African Insurers and New Faces New Voices – Kenya (Graca Machel Trust) with support from like-minded organizations such as Leading Ladies' Network Ghana and Women in Finance Rwanda Foundation.
